We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Parts Counter person to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and determine their needs for automotive parts
- Look up parts in the inventory system and provide accurate information on availability and pricing
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts for their vehicles
- Process orders and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an automotive parts counter role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
