Job Summary
The Executive Program Director will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing MATTE Projects' end-to-end program execution across creative, production, and client service functions. This role requires an exceptional leader with strong operational expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage complex, high-stakes projects in a dynamic and fast-paced creative environment. As a senior leader, the Executive Program Director will ensure seamless collaboration across departments, maintain accountability for program deliverables and profitability, and uphold MATTE's standards of creative and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Client Program Oversight
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-disciplinary creative programs, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop program strategies and operational frameworks to meet client and business objectives.
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate program success and maintain consistent quality across all deliverables.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as the central leader bridging creative, production, finance and client services teams to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions.Partner with creative and strategy leads to translate concepts into actionable execution plans.Collaborate with the business development team to scope new projects and ensure operational feasibility.Partner with client finance teams to monitor and report on overall project profitability.Partner with ELT to identify operational flags on projects and recommend solutions.Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management
Serve as a senior point of contact for clients as it relates to timelines, scopes, execution and project accountability, ensuring that expectations are clearly defined and consistently met.Manage mapped client relationships at an executive level, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.Lead high-level program presentations and reviews, ensuring all communications are clear, impactful, and strategically aligned.Operational Excellence
Establish best practices for program management, scope development and change management, workflow optimization and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and profitability.Oversee project budgets, contracts, and timelines, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.Continuously improve processes and tools to optimize program delivery.Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of project managers fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Identify skill gaps and opportunities for training, ensuring team members grow in alignment with MATTE's goals.Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across teams and projects.Qualifications
10 years of experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of success in creative, experiential, or marketing industries.Strong leadership experience in managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary programs from ideation to execution.Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to handle complexity and ambiguity.Expertise in budget management, resource planning, and operational optimization.Adept at fostering strong client relationships, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.A passion for culture, creativity, and innovation, with a deep understanding of the creative production landscape.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a creative studio, agency, or experiential production environment.Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools and software.Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.Compensation : $180,000-$200,000 / year
