What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Mattex Service Company?
Mattex is looking to expand its team with a full-time Accounting Clerk. This position is based at its Champaign office and may include travel to the Monticello office one day a week, if requested. It is a hybrid role that will include AP, AR, Collections (some payroll & HR). It's the perfect role for someone that enjoys variety in their day and collaborating with other departments to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
AP/AR/Collections (some Payroll & HR)
Skills and Experience
- 3 years of experience in AP/AR etc.
- Highly organized and process driven with excellent follow-through abilities.
- Thorough attention to detail with on time delivery.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education with 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s payroll software.
- QuickBooks experience is preferred.
