We are hiring a Maintenance Manager for a leading industrial company, responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, managing a team, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of all equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform maintenance of equipment, buildings, vehicles, and tools.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships for cost-effective outsourcing.
- Source and purchase parts/tools in the most cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate with the transportation team to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Lead and train a team of Maintenance Technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
- Manage maintenance budgets and cost-effective repair strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or military experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge in industrial maintenance.
- Experience with diesel engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance (excavators, cranes, shears, etc.).
- Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to lead a team and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Work Environment:
- Industrial setting with exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on repairs.
