POSITION SUMMARY
Schawk San Francisco is looking for a highly talented and motivated Temporary 3D / CG Generalist with a strong focus in photorealistic lighting to join our team of creative CGI professionals. Our 3D artists assist in the development of photorealistic stills and video for a variety of the world’s premier brands (primarily luxury items and consumer electronics). Successful candidates command industry-leading skills with top tier artistic and technical ability in lighting with knowledge of 2D post-production for print.

Proven ability in major CG techniques including lighting, compositing, texturing and shading.

Leadership of creative professionals within a larger production environment.
Expert in Cinema 4D and Redshift renderer

Expert in Cinema 4D and Redshift rendering for High Resolution output
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client facing and internal communication.
Ability to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with peers and colleagues in one or more areas of the organization.
Ability to work independently and with a limited degree of supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Art or related field.
6 years progressive visual design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
C4D and Redshift rendering aptitude
High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
Must demonstrate a portfolio of expert-level photorealistic renders where lighting being the primary responsibility.
The rate for this role is $80-100. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
