The Lead Developer will report to the Senior Manager, DevOps and work within Mattr’s DevOps vertical. The position will be responsible for leading and contributing to the development efforts of the DevOps team. This role will oversee the technical operations and solution deployment process including but not limited to: gathering requirements from areas across the business, planning and architecting solutions, and managing development projects.
This role oversees a team of direct reports that are responsible for:
- Extracting, transforming, and loading of data from Mattr’s systems via API’s, scripting languages and/or other 3rd party tools such as Azure Data Factory
- Line of Business Application Development
- Custom Business Driven Web Applications
- Report development
- Automation and integration initiatives
DUTIES:
- Manage development projects and ensure timely delivery of business requested reports / applications
- "Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project directives and timelines are communicated and DevOps continues to meet business needs.
- Support and train direct reports to ensure the team continues to meet business needs"
- "Gather project requirements and architect solutions with key internal stakeholders.
- Presentation of solutions developed to key stakeholders and business leaders.
- Ensure standardization of solutions, documentation, and security implemented within the DevOps vertical.
- Lead code and application review sessions and provide constant feedback on solutions throughout the development process."
- "Provide technical support on solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Explore and recommend new technologies and tools."
- Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- 3 years of experience in a senior development position within a DevOps or Information Technology team is required.
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) is required
- 3 years of API development leveraging scripting languages such as PowerShell is required.
- Working knowledge of web development languages, such as JavaScript, is highly desired
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating system is preferred
- Experience with Azure is preferred
- ERP/MRP/HRIS Systems Experience is preferred
- TSQL or PL/SQL Experience is preferred
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently change directions as business dictates
- Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
