We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable professional to prepare accurate cost estimates and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during the pre-construction phase for residential projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for residential construction projects.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during the pre-construction phase.
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of construction costs and pricing information.
• Participate in project meetings to provide input on constructability and value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and building codes.
• Support the project team with procurement and contract administration tasks.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience in construction estimating or pre-construction coordination (residential construction experience required).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients and team members.
• Proficiency with construction estimation software and project management tools.
• An ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, project specifications, and technical drawings.
• A commitment to safety, integrity, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in estimating or a construction-related role is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in preconstruction software such as Outlook, Excel, Project, Bluebeam, Building Connected, On-Screen Takeoff, and AutoDesk Construction Cloud. Must have strong blueprint-reading skills and the ability to review inclusions, exclusions, and ensure all project scopes are thoroughly addressed.
• Teamwork & Independence: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
• Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Drafting Abilities: Some drafting ability is considered a plus, providing the ability to create, interpret, and modify technical drawings to support project needs.
