Litigation Legal Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Support Specialist to enhance our legal team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for individuals with over 5 years of relevant experience who are eager to contribute to the litigation process. As a key member of our firm, you will provide vital administrative support to our litigation attorneys, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities :

• Document Preparation and Management : Draft, revise, and proofread essential legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and briefs. Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• E-Filing and Case Management : Efficiently file documents electronically with state and federal courts. Maintain organized and accessible case files, both electronic and physical.
• Scheduling and Calendaring : Coordinate and manage meetings, hearings, depositions, and court appearances. Oversee attorneys’ calendars to prevent scheduling conflicts.
• Client Communication : Act as a primary contact for clients and other stakeholders. Address client inquiries and ensure accurate message delivery.
• Research and Information Gathering : Conduct basic legal research to assist in case preparation. Summarize findings and compile relevant data for attorney use.
• Administrative Support : Perform general office tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, organizing files, and ordering supplies.
• Billing and Timekeeping : Assist in tracking billable hours and preparing client invoices, ensuring accurate entry into the firm’s billing system.
