Production Associate
Expand your career as a Production Associate with MAU at our client in Valencia, CA.As a Production Associate, you will complete production processes, inspections, and equipment operations. You will also unload, store, prep, kit, pick, stage, and load products, working in a 37-degree CGMP environment. The Production Associate is responsible for allergen control, quarantine, Hazard Analysis, and Critical Control Point (HACCP) processes during product transfer to cold storage.
Our client offers a Remote Prep Kitchen (RPK), a stand-alone food preparation service provider focused solely on serving the unique needs of client restaurants, enabling multi-day deliveries of fresh products. At our client, you will help support continued innovation at an operation like no other in the food service industry.

- · Sunday – Saturday work schedules, five eight-hour shifts per week
- o 12:30 PM – 9:00 AM
- o 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- · Off on Saturday after the conclusion of production (10:30 AM)

What We’re Looking For:
- · High school diploma or GED
- · 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- · Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- · Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

What You’ll Do As A Production Associate:
- · Ensure that supplied cold gear clothing is clean and sanitary
- · Follow all established handwashing and hygienic processes
- · Maintain housekeeping standards in all work areas, warehouses, and common areas, ensuring the highest level of sanitation and safety
- · Actively participate in daily communication meetings, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Process Improvement and confirming that food safety standards are maintained throughout the warehouse
- · Complete all required audits, process reports, and inspections per Operator Standard Work instructions
- · Ensure that technology, such as scanners, is accurately and effectively operated and that data is entered accurately
- · Verify that the product is accepted and returned per company policies
- · Cross-train in various production and warehouse processes, including the following:
- o Warehouse order picking
- o Inventory scanning and subsequent integrity at all locations
- o Food prep (cut/wash)
- o Process equipment operation (human interface touchscreens)
- o Lock-out/Tag-out equipment operation
- o Tray loading and unloading
- o Salad and fruit bowl kitting
- o Product labeling and inspection
- o Tote loading and inspection
- o Customer-specific order picking and staging
- o Labeling, lot code, and order quality verification
- o Safety and quality alerts
- o Replenishment of materials, supplies, and components utilizing powered pallet jacks
- o Temperature monitoring and food safety quality assurance
- o Final order staging for truck loading
- · Perform waste reduction projects and lean process improvements
- · Actively participate in team events to drive a world-class work environment
- · Perform other duties as assigned by management
