Position Overview :
As a Houseman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of our hotel's public spaces and guest areas. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to the exceptional guest experience we strive to provide.
Responsibilities :
- Public Area Maintenance : Ensure that all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and courtyard are well-maintained, clean, and presentable at all times.
- Restroom Care : Regularly inspect and clean public restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and exhibit a high standard of cleanliness.
- Litter and Debris Removal : Continuously monitor the grounds for litter, debris, and trash, promptly removing any such items to maintain the hotel's aesthetics.
- Floor Care : Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of floors, carpets, and rugs in all public areas.
- Furniture Arrangement : Arrange furniture and fixtures in public spaces as needed, ensuring they are well-positioned and aesthetically pleasing.
- Back Office Cleaning : Maintain the cleanliness of back-office areas, including employee break rooms, storage spaces, and administrative offices.
- Assist Housekeeping : Support the housekeeping team by delivering linens, towels, and amenities to guest rooms as required.
- Light Maintenance : Address minor maintenance issues such as replacing light bulbs, reporting damages, and conducting basic repairs to keep public areas in optimal condition.
- Guest Assistance : Respond to guest inquiries and provide directions or assistance with a courteous and helpful demeanor.
- Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and a well-functioning hotel environment.
