The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Paramount Hotels, the Senior Level Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new business and nurturing key accounts. You will play a pivotal role in strategically positioning Maui Coast Hotel within the corporate and group travel markets while ensuring exceptional service and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue & Business Development: Proactively solicit, negotiate, and secure new business opportunities through strategic sales initiatives.
- Market Penetration & Strategy: Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to expand corporate and group travel segments, but also global contract business, transient sales, managing the GDS and contacts, wholesale and travel agent markets, etc.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Creative Client Engagement: Conduct engaging site inspections and coordinate client events to showcase the hotel's offerings.
- Responsive & Proactive Communication: Ensure timely responses to RFPs and proposal requests within 24 hours.
- Competitive Market Intelligence: Plays a key role in marketing and overall revenue strategy by Maintaining a deep understanding of competitor products and industry trends.
- Financial Performance: Consistently meet or exceed assigned quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Performance Metrics:
- Revenue growth from corporate transient accounts
- Retention and expansion of key corporate accounts
- Increase in market share and penetration in the business travel segments
- Achievement of annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client needs and special requests.
- Strategic Travel & Networking: Develop an annual travel calendar to support marketing and business goals while representing the hotel at key industry events.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum two years of hotel or resort sales experience (additional experience in events, reservations, or room sales is a plus).
- Strong understanding of corporate and group travel sales strategies.
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS is a plus.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated mindset.
