Maui Nō Ka ʻOi Magazine is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Manager to support our editorial and publishing teams by keeping production workflows on track.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive and tech-savvy – someone who excels in making complex processes run smoothly behind the scenes.
About the Role
You will coordinate freelance contributors, manage project schedules, facilitate internal communications and handle various administrative tasks that support publishing across multiple departments and brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage editorial and production schedules for internal staff and freelance contributors
- Coordinate freelance writers and photographers
- Track content flow from submission through editing, approval, publishing and archiving
- Schedule and manage internal production meetings; track action items and send deadline or materials alerts
- Manage CRM systems
- Manage project management tools
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Proficient in project management platforms such as SmartSheet, Jira and Monday
- Proficient in CRM and automation tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce
- Experience in publishing, media, marketing or administrative support is helpful but not required
