POSITION AVAILABLE: 6th Grade Math Teacher
BUILDING: Maumee Middle School
JOB STATUS:Full - Time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver’s license
Valid Ohio Teacher’s Certificate/License (Integrated Math; K-8, 1-8, 4-9).
Demonstrate a sincere desire to aid all students.
Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.
Available PRAXIS scores.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide effective instruction for the students assigned to him/her.
To regularly monitor student progress and to provide intervention (remedial and/or enrichment) as needed.
To communicate effectively with parents.
To establish a positive rapport with students so as to motivate and encourage their best efforts.
To function as a contributing member of the academic team.
COMPENSATION:
Salary and fringe benefits are based on the collective bargaining agreement.
