POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 7th Grade Science Teacher
BUILDING: Maumee Middle School
JOB STATUS: Full-Time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid driver's license.
2.Valid Ohio Teacher’s Certificate/License (Integrated Science 7-12, K-8, 1-8, or 4-9)
3.Demonstrate a sincere desire to aid all students.
4. Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.
5. Available PRAXIS scores.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide effective instruction for the students assigned to him/her.
To regularly monitor student progress and provide intervention (remedial and/or enrichment) as needed.
To communicate effectively with parents.
To establish a positive rapport with students to motivate and encourage their best efforts.
To function as a contributing member of the academic team.
COMPENSATION:
Salary and fringe benefits are based on the collective bargaining agreement.
