This sales position offers both a base hourly rate plus commission.

Role: Showroom Specialist
Reports to: Showroom Manager
Vision: The Showroom Specialist will be communicating, collaborating, and problem solving to provide an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers. Focus will be on sales, driving growth and market share while building lasting relationships with architects, builders, the design community, and retail clients. The right candidate will combine his/her passion for sales and luxury design within a structured sales environment that provides the Showroom Specialist with the tools they need to build the business.
Required Qualifications
High school degree required; undergraduate degree preferred.
Sales experience required, high-end, luxury brand retail sales experience preferred
Self-motivated, possessing the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Punctual and polished with an excellent work ethic
Persuasive (yet subtle) selling skills with the ability to listen and translate client needs into successful sales conversions
Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals and teams
Experience resolving customer satisfaction issues
Digitally savvy – willing and able to successfully connect with clients virtually as needed
Available alternating Saturdays and some early evening hours – No Sundays
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated history of luxury showroom sales experience which includes specifying custom finishes and designs
Kitchen and bath experience is highly desired
Undergraduate degree preferred
Longevity in prior work positions
Familiarity with Epicor Eclipse software
Responsibilities:
Learn all plumbing, fixture, hardware and furnishing lines carried and confidently guide our customers through the selection process both in our showroom, online and via phone
Proactively build and develop lasting relationships with both existing accounts and new customers
Create and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
Answer all customer questions, address all customer concerns, and keep customers informed about order status
Partner with vendors, customer service representatives, technical support, and/or our purchasing department to resolve any product or order issues to maintain the highest level of customer service
Execute a variety of marketing functions, including bid/price quote follow up calls and e-mails, order follow up calls and e-mails and hand-written thank you notes
Continuing education via in-person vendor training sessions, online training courses, reviewing all literature sent to showroom and self-guided study
Help keep the store clean and organized using daily and weekly showroom maintenance checklists
Help with building displays, including painting, installing new faucets and hardware and/or moving furniture and fixtures as needed
Participate in both on and offsite meetings, training sessions, networking nights and special events as required
Maintain acceptable level of individual sales and strive to meet showroom sales goals set by Showroom Manager
Physical Requirements
Must maintain Showroom Dress Code
Must be able to lift 15-30 pounds, more with assistance from a team member
Must be able to work for a prolonged amount of time both sitting and standing
