Billing/Revenue Cycle Specialist
Job Summary: Under general supervision and reporting directly to the CFO, responsibilities include: managing client payer eligibility, enrollment, and related changes. Monitor service documentation and resolve claim issues for billing; process electronic claims and submit to payers; process and apply payments, research and resolve denials. Monitor aged accounts receivable regularly for timely collection. Produce client statements and follow through for payments. Credential clinical staff for various regulators and insurers. Complete all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local requirements, and the policies and procedures of the agency. This work requires the appropriate handling of confidential and sensitive information. Required experience in medical billing and coverage verification. Experience in Behavioral Health billing, Excel, and electronic EHR systems preferred.
