What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team. This position will work in our kitchen to assist cleaning of dishes and keeping with work area clean in accordance with federal and state guidelines and in accordance with Maunalani’s philosophy and policies.
Established in 1950, Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility located on Wilhelmina Rise in Kaimuki. We take great pride in caring for our Kupuna. Proud and supportive of our mission, “Doing what we do best, taking care of people and changing the perception of long-term care,” we are looking for a Food Service Worker.
The food service worker will handle large commercial pots to wash and unload the cutlery and dishes brought to the kitchen by staff while loading and organizing them into trays for the washer. Additional duties will include, but not limited, to the following:
- Food prep work
- Taking garbage and trash to dumpster area
- Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
- Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine

Education:
Preferred high school diploma or equivalent. At least six (6) months prior experience in a food service industry Job Type: Full time and Part time
