Title: Pre Service Analyst – Financial Clearance
Location: Maury Regional Medical Center
Position Shift: PRN (As Needed) 8a-4p
Position Summary:
The Pre-Service Analysts areas of technical competencies should include: Working knowledge of office equipment and computer. Working knowledge of healthcare insurance payment methodologies. Working knowledge of financial assistance policies and procedures. General knowledge of hospital payment plan guidelines. General knowledge of healthcare coding practices. Working knowledge of healthcare insurance payers, including Medicare, TennCare, Workers Comp, TriCare, Blue Cross, and Commercial payers. General knowledge of hospital clinical departments and service protocols. Strong negotiation skills. Strong collection skills. Excellent customer service skills.
Credentials / Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
- 1 Years Related Experience – Required
- 2 Years Patient Technician Experience – Preferred
