Machine Attendant- night shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the start & stop of all machines & auxiliary equipment.
• Responsible for processing machines, making machine adjustments.
• Needs to follow appropriate lockout/tagout procedures and other preventive maintenance procedures
• Responsible for making color changes, plate changes and insert changes
• Reads PCDs and follows instructions
• Responsible for making quality adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with quality department, supervisors and shift personnel.
Records machine downtime in the system and creates appropriate documentation

Education and/or Experience:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
Experience with plastic injection molding is preferred

Skills:

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform simple machine adjustments and repairs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in a team environment
• Must be able to understand PCDs

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
