What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Attendant- night shift position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the start & stop of all machines & auxiliary equipment.
- Responsible for processing machines, making machine adjustments.
- Needs to follow appropriate lockout/tagout procedures and other preventive maintenance procedures
- Responsible for making color changes, plate changes and insert changes
- Reads PCDs and follows instructions
- Responsible for making quality adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with quality department, supervisors and shift personnel. Records machine downtime in the system and creates appropriate documentation

Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment Experience with plastic injection molding is preferred

Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform simple machine adjustments and repairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Troubleshoot problems and report issues
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be able to understand PCDs
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
