JOB DESCRIPTION
The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the Company are dynamic. - Collects and delivers raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Rotates stock, loads and unloads skids and bands material before moving product.
- Identifies material to ensure that correct material is supplied.
- Moves and stores materials and keep assigned areas supplied with material.
- Works from schedules, production orders and instructions.
- Clears and moves scrap.
- Assists in other departments and works on the lines as necessary.
- Maintains fork lift truck by placing on charge and notifying supervision when truck is not operating properly.
- Completes daily fork safety inspection.
- Completes cycle counts as required.
- Maintains material storage areas as required.
- Ensures all material is properly labeled prior to transport.
- Must attain a good understanding of HFI and mill claim processes.
- Follow all safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- At least three to five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Exposure/experience to manufacturing.
- Forklift Certified.
- Understands quality, PPE requirements and safety and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand.
- The position is associated with pushing, pulling, climbing, handling, reaching, stretching, and working in tight and high places.

- Inside conditions, extremes of heat (100 seasonal), exposure to humidity, working in tight areas, high noise levels from production environment, including some exposure to outside weather elements, oil and dirt.
