What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trailer Mechanic position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on all trailers, converter dollies, light duty vehicles, and any other company-owned equipment in accordance with all federal, state, and local legal and regulatory agencies (includes all state required inspections and frequencies)
- Conduct all levels of preventive maintenance functions, such as regular servicing of trailers. Including trailer repairs and equipment inspections.
- Electrical diagnostics, repair, and replacement.
- Utilize the company’s maintenance system to create / maintain / complete work orders and vehicle maintenance records.
- Lead and / or assist with the physical parts purchasing, inventory, receiving, and proper charge out of parts to work orders
- Performs general cleaning and repair duties
