What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Coordinator - Forklift position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
Job Description
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, your responsibilities include :
- Enters timely receipts in SAP of raw materials and other MROs as needed
- Receives resin and manages daily resin flow of documents
- Creates load-picking packets and complies customer code stickers as needed
- Files BOLs, and other shipping documents
- Prepares BOLs, customs paperwork, and other shipping documents as needed
- Organizes and maintains dock appointments for the logistics of in and out-bound shipments
- Point person for coordinating all next-day and parcel-type shipments out of the plant
- Point person for SAP inventory movements from storage locations
- Distributes and organizes production control documents for scheduling purposes
- Procurement of any needed warehouse / shipping supplies (e.g. seals, load securing devices, other department needs or wants)
- Will be cross-trained for plant scheduling and cycle counting
- Will assist with product placement direction for finished goods in our warehouse
- Provides back-up support for other logistic positions in the department when individuals are out of the office
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk include :
Education and / or Experience :
Language Skills :
Ability to read and write in English. Interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and guidelines. Ability to write routine reports, email and other correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to apply basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, and oral form.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; bending, and talking or hearing. The employee must occasionally push, pull, lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
