What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operations Coordinator position at Mauser Packaging Solutions?
As a Warehouse Operations Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include :
- Timely entering of receipts for raw materials and other maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) items into SAP.
- Receiving resin shipments and managing daily document flow related to resin.
- Creating load-picking packets and compiling customer code stickers as necessary.
- Filing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other essential shipping documents.
- Preparing BOLs, customs paperwork, and other shipping documentation as required.
- Organizing and maintaining dock appointments to effectively manage inbound and outbound shipments.
- Serving as the main point of contact for coordinating all next-day and parcel-type shipments from the facility.
- Overseeing SAP inventory movements from storage locations.
- Distributing and organizing production control documents to facilitate scheduling.
- Procuring necessary warehouse and shipping supplies (e.g., seals, load-securing devices) as needed.
- Cross-training for plant scheduling and cycle counting.
- Assisting with product placement directives for finished goods in the warehouse.
- Providing backup support for other logistics positions when colleagues are out of the office.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Warehouse Operations Coordinator position include :
Language Skills : Must be able to read and write in English, interpret documents such as safety rules and policies, write routine emails, and communicate effectively with organizational employees.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability : Capacity to solve practical problems and address a variety of situations where standardization is limited, with the ability to interpret various written and oral instructions.
Physical Requirements : The role requires frequent walking, standing, use of hands, reaching, bending, kneeling, and talking or hearing. The employee may need to occasionally push, pull, lift, or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities necessary for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
