Quality Engineer / CMM Programmer

Summary
Mauston Tool is expanding our ability to serve a larger market in the plastic injection mold building industry. We are searching for dynamic individuals who desire to join a dedicated and progressive team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product excellence.
- Conduct inspections and tests on parts/molds using precision measuring instruments.
- Analyze data from quality tests and provide reports on findings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Maintain documentation of quality standards, procedures, and inspection results.
Requirements
- High School education or GED.
- 2 years related quality & inspection experience.
- 2 years CMM programming experience.
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Proficient in using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.

· Understand the machineability of different materials
· Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, shop math and calculator
· Able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. metal pieces

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
