Job Description – Network Engineer
The Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation and support of the company’s networks that support corporate, field and business applications. Support includes Azure, AWS, Security in addition to Internet and office connectivity.
Works with Field IT and application teams to determine appropriate network configurations to support their business requirements. Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards and procedures.
Qualifications
Experienced in Cloud Networking
- AWS Cloud WAN
- AWS DirectConnects\Transit Gateways\Routing
- Azure ExpressRoutes\UDR\SG
5 years as a Network Systems Administrator supporting routers, switches, firewalls, VPN and load balancers
3 years working with Palo Alto, Cisco and Merak firewalls
3 years working with BGP/OSPF routing protocols.
Advanced written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management
Team player who can operate effectively within a matrix management environment
