This is an entrepreneurial 1099 role—ideal for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, leadership, and earning based on performance. You’ll be responsible for selling, managing, and delivering roofing projects while building your own network of skilled laborers to execute the work. We currently have leads that need to be run. This is an opportunity to lead and establish a new market with the ability to run and own your own market under a known brand!

About the Role

As a 1099 Sales & Project Manager, you’ll run the entire project lifecycle—from lead generation and sales to overseeing the actual installation and labor force. This is not a traditional sales role—you will own the deal from start to finish and be directly responsible for its success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Management

  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, and self-generated leads
  • Run company-provided leads and close contracts efficiently
  • Educate customers on roofing solutions, insurance claims, and financing options
  • Negotiate deals and ensure high-margin, profitable contracts

Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee projects from contract signing to job completion
  • Schedule and coordinate material deliveries, labor, and job timelines
  • Ensure all work meets Maven’s high-quality standards and is completed on time

Crew Management & Labor Retention

  • Recruit, hire, and retain skilled laborers and subcontractors
  • Ensure labor teams are trained, equipped, and aligned with job expectations
  • Build relationships with crews to maintain a reliable and consistent workforce

Customer Experience & Communication

  • Serve as the single point of contact for customers throughout the job
  • Provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues proactively
  • Ensure 5-star customer service from initial sale to final inspection

Operational & Financial Accountability

  • Maintain accurate project budgets and cost controls
  • Ensure collections and payments are handled on schedule
  • Track and report job progress, costs, and profitability

What We’re Looking For

  • Roofing or construction sales & project management experience (preferred)
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset—you run your own deals
  • Strong ability to close sales, manage projects, and lead crews
  • Hands-on leadership—willing to be in the field and on job sites
  • Excellent communication skills—both with customers and labor teams
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects & deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,563.00 - $85,402.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed
