Job Description :

We are seeking an IT Solution Architect to collaborate with business stakeholders and deliver innovative, secure, and compliant solutions. This role will focus on evaluating, designing, and optimizing systems architecture, ensuring solutions align with business needs and OIT’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Solutions Architecture : Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Interpret business, technical, regulatory, and architectural requirements to recommend appropriate solutions. Evaluate and select technologies and platforms, ensuring adherence to security, accessibility, and compliance standards. Develop effort estimates for delivering application solutions and report progress to management.
• Technical Leadership : Act as a technical advisor, guiding optimal solutions based on business requirements. Provide insight into technology trends, ensuring the security and accessibility of proposed solutions. Collaborate with architects and solution engineers to maintain a consistent architectural vision.
• Innovation & Vendor Engagement : Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with OIT’s strategy. Research, recommend, and evaluate solutions for effectiveness, adjusting when necessary. Coordinate with internal teams to assess infrastructure and security impacts.
• Documentation & Best Practices : Document technical designs and implementation plans for recommended solutions. Capture and share best practices to ensure reusable, relevant knowledge across OIT. Maintain up-to-date solution architecture documentation.
• Stakeholder Management : Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with business goals. Build and maintain strong relationships through active listening and proactive issue resolution.
