Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Microsoft software licenses using ServiceNow.
- Track license usage, renewals, and true ups to optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing agreements and SAM (Software Asset Management) policies.
- Support procurement teams in negotiating and procuring licenses efficiently.
- Maintain relationships with Microsoft and Insight (reseller) representatives.
- Conduct license audits and collaborate with internal/external auditors.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on licensing models, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Generate regular reports on license usage, compliance, and cost trends.
Deliverables:
- Monthly and quarterly compliance and cost reports.
- Annual audit reports on licensing activities.
- Training materials on Microsoft licensing policies.
- Up-to-date licensing records in ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Microsoft licensing management (Enterprise Agreements, CSP programs).
- Strong understanding of SAM policies and licensing best practices.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., SAM Professional) preferred.
