Pay Range: $12-$15 hourly DOE
The Special Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing events of varying sizes and purposes. Coordinators have to understand what it takes to make sure the logistics work out, keep everything within the allocated budget and ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly. All in accordance with the strategic goals and objectives of the company.
- Performs additional tasks as directed by the Director of Marketing.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement all aspects of all assigned fundraising activities and other special events as assigned.
- Plan and coordinate meetings, agendas, and activities with volunteer leaders
- Interface and serve as a liaison for all levels of staff and volunteers.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records for each event.

Requirements
- Previous experience successfully managing a casino marketing department.
- Must have outstanding track record of management capabilities and organizational leadership in a client-service, team-driven.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic.
- Must be highly collaborative with strong management experience in building, managing, and leading high performing team.
- Must be highly motivated, self-directed, outgoing, and personable with the ability to interface with senior management.
