We are currently looking to add a talented Buyer to join our Supply Chain and Procurement team. Are you experienced in purchasing or supply chain? Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring product delivery timelines are aligned with product needs
- Analyze bids and award best bid to approved vendors
- Create and negotiate subsequent agreements that align with the Master Agreement
- Work with Procurement Managers in maintaining relationships with vendors
- Support Procurement Managers in maintaining relationships with vendors
- Look for ways to improve supply chain processes
Qualifications: Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Qualifications: Experience
- 1 years’ experience in purchasing and/or Supply chain management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs; including Excel and Outlook
Qualifications: Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
- Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
- A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
- Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
