Maverik's Summer Intern Program is designed to provide a structured learning experience, equipping interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. The internship will run from June 2025-August 2025, with a commitment of up to 30 hours per week. This opportunity is exclusively available to full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university.
As an IT QA Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to test and refine Maverik’s key retail software systems, including our Point of Sale (POS) and Kitchen Production (KPS) tools.
Summary of Internship Projects :
Perform manual testing for a full version release of Nitross (POS software).
Complete multiple sprints of manual testing on KPS.
Learn and contribute to automated POS testing.
Create and update test cases and test plans.
Perform automated API testing.
Throughout this internship, you will achieve the following :
Gain hands-on experience in software testing processes, including manual and automated testing.
Develop an understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and tools.
Enhance documentation and communication skills by creating test cases and plans.
Learn how to work within an Agile development environment and participate in sprint cycles.

Qualifications :
A full-time college student that has completed their sophomore year by the beginning of the internship.
Currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a degree related to the position.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
