Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fuel Technology Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain fuel management systems, including POS interfaces, fuel dispensers, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fuel dispensing systems, payment processing, and fuel management software.
- Perform regular system health checks and preventative maintenance on fuel technology equipment.
Low Voltage Systems Support:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems such as security cameras, alarm systems, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure the proper functionality of all low voltage components, including cabling, switches, and power distribution.
POS Systems Maintenance and Support:
- Install and maintain POS hardware, including terminals, receipt printers, and scanners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with POS software and hardware, ensuring minimal downtime for store operations.
- Support payment processing systems and ensure they are compliant with industry standards and security protocols.
Hardware & Software Troubleshooting:
- Perform diagnostics and resolve hardware and software issues related to IT systems, including computers, printers, network devices, and other technology systems used in store operations.
- Respond to and resolve IT-related service tickets, escalating when necessary to senior technical support staff.
System Installation & Configuration:
- Set up and configure new IT equipment, including POS terminals, routers, switches, and other peripherals.
- Ensure proper cabling, device setup, and network configuration to meet company standards and specifications.
On-site Support & User Training:
- Provide in-person technical support to store staff, ensuring they are properly trained on the usage of IT systems and troubleshooting basic issues.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (weekday travel only)
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, installations, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Update inventory management systems with details of installed equipment, spare parts used, and completed service tasks.
Qualifications: Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, preferred
- CompTIA A , Network , or other relevant certifications, preferred.
- Fuel dispenser technology certification or similar credentials, preferred.
Qualifications: Experience
- 3 years of experience in IT support, field services, or technical troubleshooting
- Experience supporting fuel technology systems, POS systems, and low voltage systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, fuel management systems, and low voltage infrastructure.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and wireless systems.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, software, and hardware components.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical systems as they relate to IT and technology installations.
- Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and repair a variety of IT equipment, including servers, workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $25-$30/hour Bonus Opportunity
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
