As a HRBP you will play a critical role in supporting and advancing the human resource functions across our partner practices in the Northeast region. This position requires a proactive and dynamic HR professional with a passion for fostering positive employee experiences, managing employee relations, and ensuring HR processes align with organizational objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Coordinate and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring proper orientation and integration into the company culture.
- Manage offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Maintain documentation and records for all onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of HRIS and other HR tools.
New Partner Integrations:
- Facilitate HR processes during the integration of new practices into the organization, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
- Conduct due diligence and provide HR support during mergers or acquisitions.
- Train new partners and employees on HR policies, systems, and tools.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and coaching.
- Handling employee relations matters associated with assigned practice groups.
- Provide guidance on employee development plans and career progression opportunities.
- Analyze performance metrics and recommend strategies for improvement.
Compensation & Benefit Administration:
- Assist employees with questions regarding compensation, benefits, and payroll-related concerns.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate benefits enrollment and administration.
- Advise team members on managing the leave of absence processes.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with compensation policies and regulatory requirements.
Culture & Engagement:
- Promote and enhance a positive workplace culture that aligns with MAX’s mission and values.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster collaboration and retention.
- Act as a resource for employees and leaders in building strong, trusting workplace relationships.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, talent management, and compliance.
- Experience in healthcare or multi-site organizations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Travel Requirements:
- Office Location: Hackensack, NJ (Hybrid: ~2 to 3 days/week in the office)
- Travel: Occasional visits to our partner practices in NJ, NY, PA, CT and VT to provide hands-on support and build strong relationships with local teams.
Salary is commensurate with experience
Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
