About This Role: As a Software Engineer at Maxar Technologies, you will have the opportunity to closely support our mission partners, and your work will have a direct impact on maintaining air and maritime domain awareness to combat illicit activities in and around the United States. In this role, you'll work closely with other software engineers along with data scientists leveraging open-source tools and libraries to create and maintain a high-throughput, low latency data science pipeline.
Your Responsibilities: Contributing to the continued research and development of an existing analytics pipeline tasked with identifying suspicious activity in the air and maritime domains, creating and/or refining software applications in support of data scientists and mission partners, creation and/or refinement of analytical models, and maintenance and enhancement of existing custom applications specifically built to support our mission partners.
