Duties And Responsibilities
The Co-Op position at Maxcess RotoMetrics is targeting Junior or Senior level undergraduate students currently enrolled
in an Accredited engineering program at a College or University. This position will provide an opportunity for the
student to work alongside the engineering team to support the design and manufacturing of converting tools (rotary
dies, print cylinders, etc). This type of tooling is used to convert materials into labels for wine/beer bottles, medical and
automotive devices (band aid’s, gaskets) and non-wovens (diapers, face masks).
Research current products, bill of materials and develop understanding of how the product flows thru production. This
role will support engineering team in a continuous improvement environment with projects that may span multi sites.
Additional duties may include data entry, BOM support, automation projects to streamline processes, periodic testing,
and results summary with report out, light design work to support New Products or Research into new technology,
based on business need and skill set of the student.

Candidate Requirements
- Full-time (40 hours per week) availability
- Self-starter, hands on, clear communicator
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong mechanical and/or software programming aptitude, desire/curiosity
- Ability to create reports and presentations, ability to clearly report out
- Understanding of lean manufacturing processes, experience with machine
- Establishing MS SharePoint workflows a plus.
- Proficient in 2D design/drawings along with 3D Modeling
- Preferred ability to read component blueprints, Programming skills (C, C ,.NET, VB)
- ERP System understanding and FEA a plus.
