What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC MACHINIST (FINISH MILLS) + 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT PAY position at Maxcess?
Duties And Responsibilities :
Primary Responsibility : Responsible for running finish milling operations on a Finish Mill.
Duties And Responsibilities :
- Perform finish milling, drilling and tapping to final dimensions as specified on the engineering drawings and standard procedures.
- Set up milling machine as required to perform individual finish operations.
- Maintain all oil levels and lubricate machine daily. Inform supervisor of any equipment defects.
- Set correct feeds and speeds as required for milling, drilling and tapping of different types of material.
- Deburr and polish finished product as required.
- Record time accurately for each operation performed using established system.
- Move completed work to proper holding area for disposition following Quality at the Source expectations.
- Maintain neat and clean working area, including the removal and disposal of machined chips from machine base.
