Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Bid Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the successful submission of competitive proposals and tenders. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a keen eye for detail.
A bid administrator is responsible for the planning, organization, and monitoring of the bidding process. Their duties include:
- Bid process management: Overseeing the entire bidding process, from identifying customer needs to analyzing the results
- Bid strategy: Developing and maintaining a winning bid strategy
- Bid documentation: Reviewing and organizing bid proposal requirements, general conditions, and other requirements as documented.
- Data management: Ensuring data is accurate, confidential, and secure, and updating bid data regularly
- Administrative support: Providing general administrative support, such as order entry, timeline adherence, reviewing Bid websites and emails for opportunities. Mail and email list updates for awarded bid and members, conducting and submitting usage if required.
- Communication: Coordinating communication across the Customer service team and Management, providing information and documents as required
- Calendar management: Organizing meetings when required, events, and bid calendars
- Bid team support: Assisting with pre-qualification/selection questionnaires and applications, and supporting the formatting and quality control of bid applications
- Research: Conducting competitive bid analysis
Bid administrators should be computer literate, Customer service oriented, proficient in MS software, and have strong communication skills. They should also be adaptable, flexible, and able to work individually or in group setting.
