Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking an Area Vice President of Clinical Operations (AVPCO) for our Behavioral division.
The Area Vice President of Clinical Operations leads clinical operations across multiple service lines in their area, specifically Behavioral services. The position is a remote work opportunity with travel involved that emphasizes the expansion of clinic-based ABA services into new regions. Responsibilities include enhancing clinical services, achieving best outcomes, and monitoring Key Quality Indicators (KQIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads and mentors BCBA Clinical Directors to ensure clinical quality, customer service, and business outcomes
- Co-leads office and clinic launches as well as other initiatives with area partners
- Develops, implements, and collaborates on area and regional initiatives across the company.
- Analyzes issues and trends by following the Root Cause Analysis process and develops effective solutions.
- Facilitates and implements training on new policies and processes and monitors its effectiveness.
- Provides leadership and professional development opportunities in the respective geographic area.
- Remains current with and is accountable to industry regulations including federal, state, local programs and contracts, accrediting bodies and Maxim requirements.
- May serve on headquarters’ cross functional teams as a subject matter expert
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis by Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Active License in Applied Behavior Analysis as required for each state in the respective geographic area.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in field of applied behavior analysis
- A minimum of five years of progressive ABA supervisory experience
- Must meet all federal, state, local and contract program requirements, in addition to internal certifications and training.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, employee development, and business acumen.
- Broad knowledge of ABA healthcare delivery systems
- Knowledge of BACB task list, ethical, reporting, and supervisory requirements and Ability to travel fifty percent of the time
- Experience in quality management, budget management, and progressive multi-office or multi- program management
- Demonstrated skills working independently and managing remotely.
- Ability to engage teams and lead organizational changes.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
