Job Summary:
The Supplier Relationship Manager works closely with project, people, and functional leaders across Clinical Operations & Biometrics, Procurement, Legal and Suppliers to ensure appropriate governance and oversight of RMS suppliers and maximizes. This is a two level job requiring a combination of advanced skills and experience in identifying, selecting and managing external supplier of Clinical Trial Services. pliers of Clinical Trial Services .
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of outsourcing / external resourcing in support of Clinical Operations and Biometrics (COBM) functions and sub-functions.
• Effectively manages the relationships with key suppliers and represents RMS at applicable levels within management teams /steering committees.
• Develops overall RMS COBM outsourcing strategy across functions.
• Works with COBM leaders to identify and fully document outsourcing needs.
• Works with Procurement and COBM Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify and select suppliers.
• Works with Procurement, Supplier Quality Assurance and SME to qualify.
• Works with Clinical Contract Administration and Legal to establish Master Services Agreement (MSA) for as many suppliers as possible.
• Establishes, monitors and reports on Key Performance Indicators for applicable suppliers..
• Ensures complete and accurate supplier information / records are maintained across applicable systems (e.g., Simple-Buy, CTMS, etc.).
• Other applicable duties assigned by manager.
• Manages staff; provides staff with coaching, training and opportunities to develop skills, and gives ongoing, constructive and timely feedback on performance and progress toward goals and expectations.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business / Finance or industry related field – Required
Master's Degree in Business / Finance or industry related field – Preferred.
Experience:
7 years of relevant experience required in sponsor / vendor relationship
experience within Diagnostics and/or Pharmaceutical industry - Required
4 years of specific RFI, RFP, Contracting and/or Budget management experience – Preferred.
