Job Description:
Duties:
• Under the direction of the Manager of Biostatistics, the successful candidate will take the lead statistical role on several clinical trials by providing study design expertise via protocol development and review of case report forms, sample size calculations, randomization, and the development of statistical analysis plans (SAP). In this role, he/she will be responsible in conducting statistical analysis and inference; and writing and presenting reports summarizing findings in support of product development. The Biostatistician will collaborate with the SAS programmer analysts to generate tables, listings and figures and derived datasets that summarize results for clinical trials. These efforts must meet company objectives and satisfy regulatory, GCP, and ICH requirements and guidelines.
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics with sufficient concentration in statistics with 2-5 years of experience is required.
• Advanced statistical knowledge (e.g. multivariate data analysis, generalized linear mixed models, sample size simulations, data mining, predictive modeling, or operations research) is required.
• Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language is required (SAS, R, Python).
• Proficiency in SAS programming is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required
