Overview:
As a MaxMetabolix Specialist at MaxLiving, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and consultation to patients in alignment with the company’s holistic values. This position will require you to conduct 1:1 consultations, create customized care plans, interpret lab results, and collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to maintain and grow the patient care experience. You will work under the guidance and mentorship of Jess Inman, ensuring that your patients receive the highest standard of care.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Patient Interaction and Reception:
- Greeting patients warmly, by name, as they enter the clinic..
- Assisting patients with checking in for appointments and completing necessary paperwork.
Appointment Scheduling and Management:
- Using the clinic's scheduling software to book appointments for patients.
- Confirming appointments and providing reminders through communication channels (phone calls, emails, text messages).
- Managing the appointment calendar efficiently and ensuring optimal scheduling.
Administrative Support:
- Maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Handling billing and payments while providing explanations in a clear and understandable manner.
Answering Phones and Email:
- Manage incoming calls, emails and text messages, responding to inquiries or forwarding them to the appropriate staff member.
- Provide information about the clinic's services, fees, and scheduling availability.
Maintaining Patient Records:
- Ensure patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.
- Prepare charts or electronic records for upcoming appointments.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Providing exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring a positive and supportive environment for patients through effective communication.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborating effectively with chiropractors, chiropractic assistants, therapists, and other healthcare professionals within the clinic.
- Participating actively in team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to stay informed about clinic policies and procedures.
Adherence to Regulations and Standards:
- Adhering to healthcare regulations and maintaining compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Following clinic protocols and procedures rigorously to ensure patient safety and uphold quality standards in patient care.
- Staying updated with changes in healthcare regulations and insurance practices relevant to chiropractic care, effectively communicating changes to patients.
Patient Outreach and Community Engagement:
- Assisting with patient outreach efforts, such as promotional activities or community events.
- Supporting marketing initiatives to attract new patients and engage with communities effectively.
MaxMetabolix:
- 1:1 Consultations with Patients: Conduct individualized consultations to assess patient needs, goals, and health status.
- Create and Execute Care Plans: Design and implement tailored care plans based on each patient’s unique health profile and requirements.
- Ongoing Communication: Maintain regular communication with patients to monitor progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Patient Ownership: Manage your own patient load and exercise authority over their care, consulting with Jess Inman as required.
- Lab Sample Management: Perform lab draws and ensure proper mailing of lab samples.
- Interpret Lab Results: Review lab results and develop customized care plans that align with individual patient needs.
- Lab Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date lab records for all patients.
- Operations Communication: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth patient care delivery and service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance of inventory to ensure the availability of supplies for patient needs.
- Teaching: Lead and instruct master classes on relevant health and wellness topics.
- Clinic Rotations: Participate in clinic rotations to gain exposure to different areas of practice and improve patient care processes.
Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by clinic management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
