Our Opportunity
The Outside Sales Representative performs various tasks to ensure growth, revenue, and profitability of the region (Minneapolis and Minnesota). Critical to the success of the position includes: Customer lead generations, prospecting and obtaining sales within assigned region, revenue growth and market penetration, expense management, existing customer management and new customer development.
Key duties include:
- In coordination with the Midwest Region Vice President of Applicator Operations, manage pricing strategies and customer targets.
- Develop, maintain relationships and provide support to builders and general contractors throughout the region.
- Promote and increase product awareness through job site visits, in person calls, phone conversations, and e-mail communications.
- Monitor competition within the region.
- Source and follow up on leads for a variety of construction projects.
Ideal candidate should have:
- BA / BS degree.
- One or more years in customer service, sales, marketing.
- Enjoy customer service and developing long lasting relationships.
- Have ability to be versatile and work independently while still operating within a team environment.
- Have excellent customer service and presentation skills.
- Able to quickly build trusted, honest relationships with current and new customers at multiple levels within a business.
- Quickly take action on customer concerns, investigate situations and recommend solutions.
- Advanced MS Office skills. Salesforce CRM knowledge.
- Prior experience in construction a plus.
