Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaborative relationships with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to address barriers to academic success.
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions to improve student well-being.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students and their families.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication among team members.
Essential Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
- A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution is essential.
- A valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential is required for this position.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LMFT, LPCC) is necessary.
Desirable Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience in K-12 Social Work, preferably in a school setting.
- Previous experience working with at-risk youth is advantageous.
Desirable Skills:
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are desirable but not mandatory.
- A valid California driver's license is required.
