Primary Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to address barriers to academic success.
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions to promote student well-being.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students and their families.
- Maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication among team members.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
- A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
- A valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential is necessary for this position.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LMFT, LPCC) is required.
Desired Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience in K-12 Social Work, preferably in a school setting.
- Previous experience working with at-risk youth is beneficial.
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are desired but not mandatory.
- A valid California driver's license is required.
