Maxx Impact Group is a management consulting firm that provides Supplier Diversity, Workforce Development, Contract Compliance, and Stakeholder Outreach and Engagement program management services to Federal/State/local governments, private sector, and commercial clients. We are looking for a Workforce Development Coordinator to join our team and play an essential role in developing and implementing workforce programs, plans, and objectives for programmatic and operational implementation and the achievement of company and client goals.
The Workforce Development Coordinator will be assigned to a specific project at the Denver International Airport (DEN) and is responsible for the development, maintenance, updating, and reporting of the project workforce development initiative. The Workforce Development Coordinator will develop and coordinate activities and facilitate communication between all internal and external stakeholders on the project as well as be the liaison to the client's Project Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement workforce programs, plans, and objectives for programmatic and operational implementation.
- Assist in the development of a network of industry resource partners and relationships that support employment opportunities for targeted candidates.
- Coordinate activities in the community relating to workforce development and supporting and increasing community/stakeholder engagement.
- Interpret and implement policies, contracts, and procedures regarding daily operations and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain regular contact with employers to monitor employment needs as well as prepare candidates for potential opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers, colleges, military, civic, community, government, and non-government organizations.
- Prepare weekly, monthly & quarterly reports to show both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Prepare reports for management that detail productivity, impact, and outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategic and communication plans for outreach to underserved communities.
- Recruit qualified candidates for employment vacancies for clients and clients’ partners.
- Promote employment vacancies with workforce organizations and career development programs.
- Assess candidate skills and work experience to match candidates to employment opportunities by conducting customer interviews and assessments.
- Track invoices to ensure fiscal obligations are met, such as clients' training, are being paid for, and that program funding is spent down as required.
- Represent the project team at monthly/quarterly workforce activities Progress meetings with the client and other key stakeholders.
- Provide exemplary customer service and program management through the integration of recruitment, assessments, case management, and reporting.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Previous recruiting experience or Business Development experience.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience utilizing cloud-based accounting and/or payroll reporting systems such as B2G, PeopleSoft, Textura Workday,LCP Tracker, and other industry-related or AI technologies considered a strong asset.
- Experience with project management software.
- Willingness to learn and use various digital apps and tools.
Preferred Qualifications: Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, education, instructional design, human resources, business management OR Trade Certificate OR 2-6 years’ experience within the architectural, construction, engineering industry or technical or construction craft training and development preferred.
- Experience with Registered Apprentice Programs (RAP) is advantageous.
- Experience with the US Department of Labor and Education Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program is preferred.
- Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish beneficial.
- NAWDP CWDP certification is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
