Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented and engaging Makeup Instructor to teach part-time, in-person classes on Fridays during the day. This is a contract-based opportunity ideal for a professional makeup artist who enjoys teaching and inspiring others.

This is a contracted role. Compensation will be in the form of a daily rate of $150.00 - $175.00. Part-time contracted employees are offered no benefits.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on makeup classes for beginner and intermediate-level students
- Demonstrate techniques including skin preparation, foundation matching, contouring, eye makeup, and more
- Educate students on product knowledge, brush hygiene, and current trends
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive, and educational environment
- Provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills
- Collaborate on class structure, curriculum updates, and special workshops as needed
- Proven experience as a professional makeup artist (portfolio required)
- Experience teaching or strong communication skills with the ability to lead a class
- Must provide your own makeup kit and tools for demonstrations
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills
- Makeup certification or cosmetology license
- Experience with bridal, editorial, or theatrical makeup
- Familiarity with social media or content creation a plus
