We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead an equipment design and development team in driving innovation, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting maintenance operations. This role is responsible for mentoring a team of engineers, overseeing equipment R&D, managing capital projects, and ensuring high-performance, safe, and reliable designs using tools like SolidWorks and FEA.
Key responsibilities include leading mechanical system design, validating and analyzing component performance, managing project budgets and ROI, and collaborating cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, strong leadership and project management capabilities, and a solid track record in manufacturing innovation.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 15 years of experience or PE license
- Proficient in SolidWorks, FEA, and Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Skilled in blueprint reading, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
