About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at our large metals manufacturing facility in Dayton, OH. This role will set the strategic direction for our EHS program, ensuring compliance, driving a culture of safety, and leading a team of EHS professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic EHS program aligned with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor an EHS team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and a data-driven approach to measure and enhance safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements within a heavy manufacturing environment (aerospace, foundries, automotive, smelters, etc.).
- Manage workers' compensation cases, risk assessments, and incident investigations to reduce workplace injuries.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to embed EHS best practices into daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
- 5 years of experience in industrial safety & environmental compliance.
- Strong background in EHS management systems, workers' compensation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to analyze safety metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
