Summary of Position
The Director of Security will oversee all aspects of security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests, colleagues, and assets. The Director of Security will bring extensive experience in hospitality security, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies aligned with the hotel's overall goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate security initiatives seamlessly into the guest experience.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the security team, fostering a culture of professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is well-equipped to handle security challenges effectively.
- Oversee daily security operations, including surveillance, access control, and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential security threats.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to security within the hotel.
- Communicate security protocols and updates effectively to all colleagues.
- Stay abreast of the latest security technologies and implement systems that enhance overall security effectiveness.
- Manage and optimize the use of CCTV, access control, and other security technologies.
- Develop and implement protocols for responding to security incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches and incidents, providing detailed reports.
