What are the responsibilities and job description for the QHSE Coordinator position at Mayekawa Usa Inc?
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Perform regular safety inspections in the manufacturing area to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage and maintain documentation and records related to QHSE functions.
- Update and maintain contractor portals with required OSHA reports and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and auditing of QHSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on QHSE topics for employees and contractors.
- Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics.
- Assists in the investigation process, reports on incidents and near-misses, and recommends corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the QHSE Manager to ensure continuous improvement in QHSE practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform quality control inspections at receiving and on the production floor when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- 1 - 3 Years of related experience.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, standing, walking 8-10 hours per day.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
- Exposure to production environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Dexterity and accuracy as needed to operate testing equipment or gauges.
- Must be able to pass a Jaeger-2 visual Acuity Test.
- Must be able to pass a visual Color Deficiency Test.
